The ERC-1155 is a standard for creating tokens on the Ethereum blockchain that combines features of both ERC-20 and ERC-721. Tokens created with this standard enable the transfer of both fungible and non-fungible tokens in a single transaction. This unique feature makes ERC-1155 tokens more versatile and efficient compared to their predecessors, as it allows for the representation and exchange of both type of tokens within the same smart contract.
